Arguably the greatest work of Antoni Gaudi, the Basilica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia, in Barcelona is the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A combination of Gothic, Art Nouveau and just plain bizarre designs, it is a spectacular and huge building with many spires and depictions of Biblical figures.
Started in 1882, and under almost continuous construction save for the Spanish Civil Was and COVID-19 there remains much to be completed some 140+ years later.
