Working The Line
This is a restored image from a PD image for the Farm Security Administration survey taken around 1939 in the Tennessee Valley.
I loved the colors and composition of the original image by Alfred T. Palmer but it was fairly scratched, lines and had dust and fiber artifacts on it. After a few hours of restoration I am happy with this high quality image showing two lines men working on the telephone wires in the days when we relied on wired communication.
