Designed by by architect Narciso Clavería y de Palacios in the Neo-Mudéjar style, Toledo Railway Station is a beautiful building that was opened in 1920. It contains beautiful tiled walls and a spectacular old ticket office and serves as a gateway to this wonderful city. It was restored between 2000-2005 to accept the new high speed rail link to Madrid.
