At first a shark, then up closer, an igloo type structure, although that doesn't explain the red dot... I'm really not sure, but I'm not sure it matters. I love the Miroesque style and bold lines and primary palette. Intriguing and engaging and I love this! So what is it? l/f!

Richard Reeve replied:

Nice comments, Meg! Infuriatingly, it's whatever you want it to be. I was playing around with lines and this was the result. At one point I thought perhaps to create a fish with fish hook and angry eye but then I decided to flip it and add a sky to be a pair with my other piece, "Danseurs." The sun is lower and the dance has moved on perhaps. Is it the same person, but with tired eyes? Who knows...

What do you see in this glazed ceramic tile? What is peeping out and what is in the foreground... you tell me...

About Richard Reeve

Richard Reeve

I am a visual story teller based in southern Pennsylvania, USA and my imagery is inspired from everyday objects and situations I encounter through my travels. My work has been exhibited and sold at the Bradford Avenue Galleries (Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery) at Chester County Art Association, in addition to this online store. My images have also been exhibited at Panorama XXL, Rouen, France and the Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati, USA. I hope you will find something that inspires you, amuses you, makes you think, smile, frown, or perhaps just scratch your head. Go on, dive in... and for those of you who do so, I offer a big thank you for looking through my window on the world! ~Richard ReevePhotos Inspiring...
