Peeking through the barred gates into the courtyard of the Polvorín San Gerónimo De Boquerón. This building was constructed for gun powder storage between 1769 and 1772 by Spanish Military Engineer Juan Francisco Mestre as part of the extensive defensive structures that surround Old San Juan in Puerto Rico.
